Item Description
.75". Minor wear in reflected light from limited use. NM. This slogan was the winning entry in a National American Woman Suffrage Association contest to replace the "Votes For Women" slogan. Dr. Eleanor M. Hiestand-Moore of Philadelphia came up with the slogan after an Italian immigrant misunderstood the "Votes for Women" slogan assuming suffragists were attempting to deny his right to vote. The slogan never really took hold in the movement making this an unusual and rare suffrage artifact.
