Item Description
1.75" tall. Silvered brass w/Bastian Bros. on reverse. Text in ribbon design around border "1912 N.A.W.S.A. 44th Annual Convention Phila 1912." Center features Liberty Bell w/text "Proclaim Liberty Through Out All The Land Unto All The Inhabitants Thereof." Retains traces of original silver application. Moderate wear from light use. Fine. The North American Womens Suffrage Association was the largest and perhaps most important Suffrage association in the US. At the time this fob was issued Anna Howard Shaw was president. After success in 1920 the group became known as League of Women Voters.
