Item Description
First two are 3.5" cello, no maker and third is 3" litho no maker (w/blue marker number written on back 1866) and fourth is British made cello with white plastic collet. Ali returned to boxing in 1970 and the early 1970s saw use of larger sized buttons, so Muchinsky dated these to early 1970s. The British button was likely made for his fight in England vs. either Brian London or Henry Cooper. This has many tiny white scratches. First has very slight reverse rust stain with Exc. cello; second is odd tan color as made and Exc.; third is NM and fourth is Fine. All scarce to rare. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Examples #216-219.
