Item Description
1.75" tall in brass w/"Souvenir" bar suspending figural heart that includes two fighters before ring section. Three other unique brass souvenir badges are known from this famous match that took place on March 17, 1897, this one remains uncatalogued and represents the only example known to Hake's. Subsequent to the live event, many in the film industry consider the "Corbett-Fitzsimmons Fight" to be the first full-length feature film, at over 100 minutes, ever produced. Exc.
