Item Description
Set of four 11x14" lobby cards for 1949 Columbia movie serial starring Robert Lowery as Batman and John Duncan as Robin. Each chapter of this serial has four lobby cards, offered here are all four lobby cards for Chapter 5, "Batman Rescues Robin!," including title card. Three feature Batman, remaining card shows both in their civilian identities in the Batcave. Title card has multiple pin holes at upper left corner w/scattered margin/corner pin holes. VG/Fine. Other two cards featuring Batman have staple holes at top center and are o/w clean and VF. Batcave card has aged tape strips at lower left and upper right. Brown paper tape on back at top/bottom center, some overlap visible on front. Heavy crease along upper right edge. .25" V-shaped pull by Dick Grayson's neck and scuff to Bruce Wayne's hand. Two poster company inkstamps and grease pencil title abbreviation on back. VG.
