Item Description
Set of four 11x14" lobby cards for original release of the 1949 Columbia movie serial starring Robert Lowery as Batman and John Duncan as Robin. Each chapter of this serial has four lobby cards, offered here are all four lobby cards for Chapter 6, "Target - Robin!," including title card. Two feature Batman, while another card shows him in his Bruce Wayne civilian identity (an image repeated on title card). Remaining card shows serial villain The Wizard, who is also pictured on title card. All but card featuring The Wizard have brown paper tape on back at top/bottom center, some overlap visible on front. Title card has 1" tear at center left and .5" tear at top center w/aged piece of tape beside it. Margins have some lt. surface paper lifts from tape removal, not distracting. VG. Cards w/Bruce Wayne and The Wizard have heavy creases and are VG/Fine. Card showing Batman in gas cloud has pin holes (including single pin hole above Batman image) and is Fine overall.
