Item Description
Set of four 11x14" lobby cards for 1949 Columbia movie serial starring Robert Lowery as Batman and John Duncan as Robin. Each chapter of this serial had four lobby cards, offered here are all four lobby cards for Chapter 12, "Robin Rides The Wind," including title card. All feature Batman and Robin (though Robin is mostly obscured on one card as he trips foe) and serial villain The Wizard appears on title card. Title card has pin holes at corners and shows some scattered handling wear. Fine. Card showing the Dynamic Duo crouching has some scattered staining w/staple hole at top left corner and two pin holes at upper corners of image area. VG/Fine. Card w/Batman in Batmobile has archival tape repair on back to three 1" tears at bottom center and top center. Staple holes at upper left w/staining at lower left corner. VG. Card w/fight scene has strip of brown paper tape along left margin and is o/w Fine.
