Item Description
27.5x41" poster for Chapter 9, "Bodies Without Minds," of the 1939 12 chapter Sci-Fi movie serial, produced by Universal Pictures and featuring Buster Crabbe in the title role, co-starring Constance Moore, Jackie Moran and Anthony Warde. Posters for the individual chapters feature unique art (see others in this auction), this chapter showing large portrait image of Crabbe at bottom right w/action-packed image of daring escape at top of poster w/futuristic city visible in bkg. Small scene of men preparing to shoot rocketship at bottom. Poster was originally folded and has now been linen-mounted w/fold lines being noticeable only upon close inspection. Poster has had minimal professional restoration, mainly along fold lines and at fold crease intersections w/pin holes at corners restored. Poster retains a bright and clean appearance and displays Exc. Gene Seger Buck Rogers Collection.
