.75". c. 1932. Tied to Nicholas Murry Butler and his outspoken campaign for repeal. Butler called for a Liberal Party to be formed in May of 1932 w/contemporary reporting from the New York Times noting "He Urges Two Big Parties To Combine On Rational Program, Discarding 'Dead' Tradition." Light surface wear from minor use in reflected light. Exc. Rare.
