Item Description
This 5.25" tall Japanese bisque w/movable arms was made in Japan, c. 1938. Incised Walt Disney copyright on back. Raised "Grumpy" name across front of hat. All moveable arm Dwarf bisques are extremely rare. These were made in at least three different sizes (see next lot) but we are unsure if full sets of Snow White and all seven Dwarfs were even made for each character, in each size, as we have only seen a few in total over our 55 years. Moderate scattered paint wear (more so on back than front) and aging. Fine. A true Disney rarity.
