Item Description
3.5" w/"Philadelphia union bug on curl at 6 o'clock. Cardboard insert and horizontal bar pin on reverse. The designers misspelled "Democrat" adding an "E" that was edited w/white out on the paper under the cello. Given the time this would likely have taken on a full production run we believe this was likely a sample or at the very least produced in very limited numbers. A bump in field between the "R" and "A" of "Democrat" from bar pin construction. Otherwise only light surface wear. Exc. as made. Rare. John Pendergrass Collection.
