Item Description
16x21.75" two page spread (two artboards taped together) w/pen and ink original art for "Our Army At War" #282 "Battle Album" pages, published July 1975 by DC. Two page semi-splash featuring pencil and ink art by Sam Glanzman. "Statistics, World War One" spread is jammed with art and stats featuring the dead and wounded totals, French Chamond Rail Gun, Flying Aces: The Red Baron and Rene Fonck portraits, rifles used by the infantry and a huge Doughboy figure charging in the midst of trench warfare. One cut in type correction on close inspection. DC © stamp on reverse. Signed by artist on left. Notations at top margin for issue details. Some wear/nicks at top edge of boards and small bit of black at top of stat torn off. Tape marks at bottom margins. tack holes on corners. Lt. aging/handling wear. Fine overall.
