Item Description
8.5x14" offset print on thin white stock produced before the show for promotion. The gig at SF, CA "Kennel Club" was the fourth club date on the band's 1990 West coast tour promoting their first album Bleach. Text at top "K.U.S.F. & K.F.J.C. Welcome A SubPop Showcase, Babe!" Highly graphic art by Seth Maxwell Malice signed in print "C '90 M. MaL'CE" in field at center right. A wild face made of fruits exclaims "Wednesday/February 14th" in word bubble at top right with "$6.00/Doors 9/Show 10" at bottom left. Additional text along bottom edge "Tickets Also Available At: Aquarius, Revolver, Rough Trade & Reckless Records." Corner loss at top left, scattered surface paper lifts one affecting SubPop at top center and another affecting Kennel. A 1.5" diagonal edge tear about two thirds the way down on left side, scattered age toning and moderate handling wear. VG. All Nirvana posters from this pre-mainstream fame stage of the band's career are scarce with this design ranking among the most graphic. One of only two examples known to us.
