Item Description
2.25" w/"Boston 36" union bug in field at 6 o'clock. Metal back w/horizontal bar pin. Trivial bump from bar pin construction in field affecting the "E" in "Lodge". Otherwise only minor wear in reflected light. The busy 1960 election saw Nixon address a large crowd for a national televised rally in Los Angeles on Nov. 5 and set off for stops in Alaska, Detroit and Washington, DC on Nov. 6. Members of the press were issued this button for the last minute campaign tour, a mere two days before election day. Only the second we can recall encountering in our 55 years.
