Item Description
36.5" long painted wood shaft with three paneled 2.25" serial numbered copper top. Panels include: likeness of British Naval officer Horatio Viscount Nelson with birth-death dates; "Foundroyant Nelson's Flagship" w/"Commenced 1789/Launched 1793/Wrecked Blackpool 1897" and third reading "Oak And Copper From Vessel After Breaking Up." Wood from the wreckage was used to make furniture and souvenirs including this cane numbered "RECd No 311490." Painted oak wood shaft. Scattered minor dents in copper top from limited use. VF. Rare.
