Item Description
6.25" long. Silk. Ribbon has text "For Governor" above portrait w/full name below. Likely produced for one of Hill's victorious campaigns in 1885 or 1888. Folds in top corners and light handling wear. VF. 7/8" cello stud has tin frame and text "Whitehead And Hoag Pat. App'd For Newark NJ" on reverse. Surface indentation in field left of portrait and age toning in cream background at right. VF. Likely produced for Hill's losing bid in 1894. Both Scarce. See surrounding related lots.
