Item Description
2.75" with 99% intact silvering. No maker's name in spite of the "Copyright 1910" inscription. Young sailor boy, with flames dancing around his bare feet, holds bread loaf under one arm while he eats a slice with his other hand. Text reads he will eat "Mother's Bread... Till I'm Dead". His face has some resemblance to the What-Me-Worry Boy of later years MAD Magazine known as Alfred E. Neuman. Very minor collet oxidation and very light surface wear in reflected light. Totally clean and glossy cello. Exc. and rare.
