Item Description
1.25" without back paper or maker's name. Fraternal order of Moose logo at center surrounded by "Days of 49 And Monte Carlo/Luna Park April 30 To May 5 1912". Button was likely issued for and used by some 400 Moose from Pomona, CA who chartered a special train to the great Moose carnival at Luna Park "Fitted Up With Moose Decorations" as reported by the Pomona Morning Times (photocopy included). The carnival's highlight was a parade of 10,000 Moose in Los Angeles with Mayor Alexander at the front. Five very faint age dots on edge. Rare. Fine.
