Item Description
11.5" tall tin litho with movable wood arms and legs. Elaborately designed set by Wolverine, c. 1950. Arms have a pair of wire hook hands to hold the shovel. Robot's mid-section serves as a sand pail and has a lid which serves as a sieve. The removable head sprinkling can with ears serving as handles can be used to pour water or sand. Side designs include girders with rivets, back includes images of a hose vent and electrical outlet with switch. Cup feet can be used as sand molds. Top and bottom narrow rims of the main body have scattered hairline paint rubs and center area of body has a couple .25" or scratches that appear only with close viewing. Striking design. Overall an unused and Exc. example with full gloss. Rare in this high grade condition.
