Item Description
7x8.5x16" tall box holds 13.5" tall hard plastic robot. 1950s. Box has light aging, few color rubs, Exc. Instructions have heavy wear with insect damage, tanning. VG. Robot has battery holder and bulb which fits inside head and lights up eyes and antenna. Robot talks intermittently when crank on back is turned , best when turned upside-down first before turning crank. Says his famous line - "I Am Robert The Robot The Mechanical Man Drive Me And Steer Me Whenever You Can." Controller to operate robot also just works intermittently as sometimes part of cable pops out from controller. One of the arms has tiny crack where it connects into body. Body of robot itself just has a few small scuffs. VF/Exc.
