Item Description
1-3/8" long. Text reads "Woman's Liberty Bell Justice Equality 1915 Pennsylvania". A 2000 pound replica of Pennsylvania's Liberty Bell toured the state's 67 counties with its clapper bound until women achieved the vote. This fob is believed to be a souvenir sold to help defray the costs of transport. The 1915 referendum was defeated and the bell toured nationally in support of the 19th amendment. It finally did ring in 1920. Some patina wear w/W & H Co., Newark NJ stamp. NM.
