Item Description
10.5x15.5" thin art board featuring original pencil art by noted comic book artist Curt Swan (1920-1996), best known as the artist most associated w/Superman titles during the period fans and historians call the Silver Age of comic books. Offered here is the original art for page 18 of "Superman" #273, published by N.P.P. in March 1974. Issue was written by Elliot Maggin w/interior art by Curt Swan and inks by Vince Colletta. Storyline "The Wizard With The Golden Eye". Five panel page shows Superman chased by the Wizard through space. N.P.P. copyright stamp on back. Scattered handling wear/aging. Aged tape adhesive on three edges. Lower right margin trimmed. Last panel has paste-over of planet on Craftint paper. A great page with Superman in three panels. Signed by Curt Swan. VF.
