Item Description
12-3/8x12.5" illustrated album cover features large record image and cover to Fantastic Four #1 (origin and first appearance of The Fantastic Four) comic book. Part of a series of four records (all being offered in this auction) issued w/comic book reprints. A.A. Records, Inc. ©1966 Marvel Comics Group. Records were issued to help promote literacy and record features a word-for-word reading of the comic book, complete w/sound effects and page instructions. This is SLP 185. Comic is a reprint (w/o price on cover) of Fantastic Four #1. Original small store price sticker at top right. Ripple in the surface paper of the album's cover along back spine edge is as made. Couple of tiny shrink wrap tears along bottom edge and at bottom corner tips but all remains totally and tightly factory-sealed. Comic remains secured tightly in place as sealed w/just lt. age toning to white cover. Both LP and comic are NM. These sets are becoming more and more popular/sought after, w/high grade, sealed copies such as this rarely coming up for sale. Our last sealed Fantastic Four example sold in June 2021 for $4,130.
