Item Description
12-3/8x12.5" illustrated album cover features large record image and cover to Amazing Spider-Man #1 comic book. From series of four records (all being offered in this auction) issued w/comic book reprints. A.A. Records, Inc. ©1966 Marvel Comics Group. Records were issued to help promote literacy and record features a word-for-word reading of the comic book, complete w/sound effects and page instructions. This is SLP 186. Comic is a reprint (w/o price on cover) of Amazing Spider-Man #1. Original small store price sticker on front. There is a minor .5" tear in the shrink wrap on front at bottom center edge. Tiny corner tip wear. All remains totally and tightly factory-sealed. Comic remains secured tightly in place as sealed (albeit upside down). Both LP and comic are NM. These sets are becoming more and more popular/sought after, w/high grade, sealed copies such as this rarely coming up for sale. This is the most desirable in the series and the first sealed copy we have offered in our 55 years.
