12-3/8x12.5" illustrated album cover features large record image and cover to Journey Into Mystery #83 comic book (origin and first appearance of Thor). From series of four records (all being offered in this auction) issued w/comic book reprints. A.A. Records, Inc. ©1966 Marvel Comics Group. Records were issued to help promote literacy and record features a word-for-word reading of the comic book, complete w/sound effects and page instructions. This is SLP 188. Comic is a reprint (w/o price on cover) of Journey Into Mystery #83. Original small store price sticker at top right. Tiny tear in the shrink wrap at bottom right corner. All remains totally and tightly factory-sealed. Comic remains secured tightly in place as sealed. Both LP and comic are NM. These sets are becoming more and more popular/sought after, w/high grade, sealed copies such as this rarely coming up for sale. First sealed copy of this title we have offered in our 55 years.
