Item Description
SOS was a Warren-esque comic magazine, published in Spain by Valenciana 1948-1984, w/four well-differentiated periods, existing first as a humor magazine before transitioning to a horror anthology format. This issue is from the "third stage," which ran for 58 issues. Offered here is the cover to the final issue, SOS #58, published in 1984. 10x14-3/8" artboard features mixed media original art for cover, featuring scantily clad woman being menaced by large serpents while skull-faced specter watches. This ties into third story in this issue and has title/issue number in pencil at top margin. Art is Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this cover art was created for.
