Item Description
8.5x12.5" album w/32 pages contains complete set of 240 full color paper stock cards; each is 2-1/8x2-7/8" and mounted at appropriate spots. Issued in Spain by Fher (known for their album and card sets), original issue from 1958 (a later version was issued by Fher in 1973). Spanish text, title translates to "Superman On The Doomed Planet" an adventure that takes him into space to deal w/life on another planet. Nice front cover art, back cover features ad for three different card series including this one. Album shows cover wear w/.5x1" spot of staining on back cover and two vertical folds at center of front cover, which has scattered age spotting. Pinch creases to spine. Pages have some scattered aging and handling wear. Album is Fine overall. A few cards have some minor age spotting but majority are EX to NM as mounted. A scarce DC licensed foreign issue.
