Item Description
20x30" cold press artboard has multi-media original art of the 2nd Army Rangers Batallion at Pointe du Hoc, France during the June 6th, 1944 invasion, scaling the cliffs. Art was used for the box for the 12" G.I. Joe D-Day Collection ©2001 Hasbro. Photo-like art is by famous modern G.I. Joe artist Larry Selman who did over 125 pieces of art for Hasbro's Classsic Collection and the Club Convention Exclusives. Art image is 16x26". Some edge wear, including an edge ding. Back of board is painted white w/marker title and 10/15/2001 date. Overall Exc. This original packaging art seldom comes up for sale. Also includes packaged example of figure in box. Overall lt. aging/wear. Some lt. creases. A few pieces are loose inside from aged rubber bands breaking. Nice example to display with original art. Fine.
