Item Description
In 1940, Walt Disney's Fantasia debuted and merchandisers created and marketed a number of items, including ceramic figurines. Particularly, figurines from the Dance Of The Hours sequence are always sought after. Offered here are all three poses produced for the elephant ballerinas. Vernon Kilns produced three different figurines while American Pottery produced a single figurine using the same pose as one of Vernon Kilns' figurines. These figurine stand between 5-3/8" and 5-7/8" tall. The two Vernon Kilns figurines have company marks on undersides, including numbers "26" and "27" as well as stamped 1940 copyright. American Pottery figurine has no such marks. All remain glossy and Exc.
