Item Description
DIS 135. 3.5" tall by 4.5" long painted and glazed ceramic figurine. 1950s. While this has been cataloged as Lucifer (from Disney's Cinderella) in some sources, it has also been found w/a Figaro (from Disney's Pinocchio and to whom the depicted cat bears a much closer resemblance to) label in at least one instance. The example offered here has small "Walt Disney Character" foil sticker on chest w/WDP copyright. Underside of one foot has inked initials and "6/52" date. Glossy and Exc. What is known for sure is the fact that is a very rare Goebel figurine and the first example we've offered in our 55 years.
