Item Description
Lot of three from the same series as previous lot. We believe these were never put into production (also see store sign lot #808). All three sports stars represented on these cards are members of their respective sports Hall Of Fame. Cards are #2 Tommy Hitchcock (Polo), #3 Bobby Jones (Golf) and #4 Alice Marble (Tennis). Clue text on tissue sheets include images of equipment for their sports. All are ©1951 Premium Specialties, Chicago. All remains intact and unused and the images on the cards are strong and distinct as is, even without being "Developed." Lt. aging, trace of glue staining on card backs possibly as once mounted for presentation to potential company to accept the proposal from Gold. Tissue sheets and card images clean. EX.
