Item Description
22x33" glossy stock poster features elaborately detailed art by John Berkey depicting exciting space battle taking place outside the Death Star. Of note, many X-Wings and TIE Fighters are seen as well as Y-Wings and the Millennium Falcon is seen at center of poster (w/what appears to be an additional two Corellian YT-1300 light freighters). Poster was designed for the 1977 release of the Star Wars soundtrack album and features studio logos of 20th Century Fox and 20th Century Records at bottom corners w/"Star Wars" title/logo at bottom center. Designed to be folded for distribution, this example never was as it was a file copy. Shows some minor handling wear w/.75" tear at top margin (w/archival tape reapir on back), just right of center but is o/w VF/Exc. Charles Lippincott Collection.
