Item Description
13/16" gilt brass listed as DeWitt/Sullivan 1840-67. Depicts military bust facing right with text above "Genl. W.H. Harrison" plus 18 stars on lower rim edge and 8 stars in semi-circle beneath bust. Reverse reads "Scovills & Co." Waterbury." Most gilt luster is gone but numerous traces remain and the brass finish is clean. Complete with shank. Much scarcer than the clothing buttons depicting log cabins. Fine.
