Item Description
1.75x10x12.75" illustrated box w/boy wearing suit for Funtime Playwear Superman Play Suit. ©1958 National Comics Publications Inc. Box has some moderate aging/wear including creases and scattered dust soiling/aging and wrinkles. Tear across one side panel. Tear on bottom. Graphics of Superman, Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Box is Good overall. Size 12 playsuit includes two of three pieces of cotton fabric in red/blue. Shirt is missing. Pants have lt. aging w/minor soil and small tear in crotch. Good. Missing thin vinyl belt w/metal buckle. Cape has large silk-screened "Superman" name and full body image. Cape is selling point and as nice as you could find w/old store stock condition. Exc. Does not include certificate for the Supermen Of America club or membership card for Official Superman Fan Club that were unique to this set. David Barsalou Collection.
