Item Description
21x26.25". Ladies of Charleston here likely refers to the Charleston chapter of the Daughters of Confederacy who were active early in the preservation and display of Confederate relics, eventually founding a permanent museum in 1899. Hand painted palm tree and Richardson's Guard Always Ready graphic w/twisted fringe and coarse muslin lining. Appears to have hung vertically w/grommet holes and folded top edge.
