Item Description
5x12" on thin paper. Top reads "Lincoln & Hamlin Ward 4". Young portrait image of Lincoln w/text reading "Republican Ticket." Has coattail for governor on ballot of John A. Andrew, a staunch abolitionist who provided legal support for John Brown after the raid on Harper's Ferry. Has scattered edge tears and creases, as well as even age toning and a few brown stains near the bottom third of the ballot. Technically Good but displaying above grade. Rare.
