Item Description
2.25" w/text on curl "Paid For By The Clinton For President Committee". Clinton began his tour in November of 1991 as he prepared for the Democratic primaries. According to reporting by the Monitor (McAllen, TX), he finished his five-city tour in McAllen, Texas, and his stops also included Corpus Christi and Brownsville. The paper described Clinton as  "Young And Armed With John F. Kennedy-Type Charisma" as he talked on issues such as free trade, education, the economy, and healthcare. Button has a few scattered pinprick indentations and a tiny shallow bump in the "T" in "President" that can only be seen in reflected light. Glossy. Exc. Scarce. An early presidential button made prior to the 1992 primaries.
