Item Description
1.25" with 1/8" surface paper dot off the W&H back paper. W.W. Denslow did the strip 1901-02 and Billy was capable of bouncing along or even flight. This c. 1901 newspaper strip promo button names  "Sunday Sentinel" and is a beautiful multicolor depicting Billy arm-in-arm with what seems to be an Italian grocer and a white bear with blue umbrella. While art is unsigned, we believe it is by Denslow. Later, from 1902-1905, C.W. Kahles took over the strip. Glossy and Exc. Rare.
