Item Description
2.25". After earning his law degree at Yale, Clinton worked as a professor at the University of Arkansas. In 1974, he decided to run for Congress in Arkansas' 3rd District. He was defeated by a narrow margin. The loss did not discourage him, however, and by 1978, he was elected Governor. This button is from his first campaign, one of only two that ended in defeat for the 42nd President. Only minor surface wear in reflected light. Glossy w/bold color. A scarce early career item for the Comeback Kid.
