Item Description
Lot of four 10x12" animation sheets featuring lead/colored pencil original art from 1938 Silly Symphony featuring caricatures of many Hollywood celebrities of the day. Art shows the character actor Ned Sparks as jester; image areas measuring approx. 4.75x5" to 5.5x7.25". Drawing No. 6 shows Sparks holding baton tipped w/caricature head. Drawings No. 30, 34 and 35 show progression of scene, showing Sparks w/startled expression. All have some scattered production notes by art and at margins. Sheets have lt. aging/handling but are clean w/Exc. art.
