Item Description
7/8" each. Second has text around edges "Help Feed The Striking Miners." Both issued by Workers International Relief (W.I.R.) an adjunct of the Communist Party and came to the aide of striking workers in the late 1920s and early 1930s including the Gastonia Textile strikers. First has moderate even fading and surface wear from limited use. VF. Second only light surface wear. Exc. Scarce.
