Item Description
2-3/8x4.25" clipped unlined index card has been boldly signed in blue ink by boxing great Muhammad Ali (1942-2016). Exc. Comes w/group of 19 vintage snapshots, each 3.5x3.5". Photos were taken c. 1978 during a visit to Muhammad Ali's Training Camp or "Fighter's Heaven," a compound/training facility in Deer Lake, PA built by Ali, who trained there in preparation for numerous fights, including Rumble in the Jungle in 1974 as well as the Thrilla in Manila in 1975. Of note, 10 photos show Ali, including him in the ring, being interviewed and of candid nature. Other photos show buildings at the camp and boulders emblazoned w/boxer names including Floyd Patterson and Sonny Liston. All have lt. even aging as is typical of snapshots of the era and a few show lt. handling wear. VF to Exc. Signature was obtained during visit. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
