Item Description
3x5.5" sheet of lined notepad paper has been inscribed/signed in black felt tip pen by Olympic gold medalist Jesse Owens (1913-1980) who won four gold medals at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Germany, where he was credited w/crushing Hitler's myth of Aryan supremacy. Inscription reads - "To Bill - My Best Wishes - Jesse Owens - 36 Olympics." Sheet has bottom right corner off as removed from small notepad and signature has .25" spot of slight smudging to first letter of Owens' last name. Still totally legible. VF overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
