Item Description
1.25" w/W&H back paper. Has faint scattered air marks along the right side slightly affecting Metcalf's portrait. Likely occurred during manufacturing process. Otherwise only minor surface wear w/vibrant color of reds and blues. Extremely Fine. Henry B. Metcalf, a former Rhode Island State Senator and unsuccessful Prohibition gubernatorial candidate, ran w/Woolley in 1900 as the VP nominee. His last name is misspelled on this jugate, and has an extra "E" at the end. Infrequently offered.
