Item Description
15.5x19.25" custom mat has 2-1/8x3.5" opening at lower left featuring autograph album page that has been signed in black ink by silent horror film legend Lon Chaney (1883-1930), aka The Man of a Thousand Faces. 3.75x6" album page has been mounted within display w/tape at two corners and is easily removed if so desired. Paper has some scattered aging and signature has two small spots of moisture, slightly affecting ink. Signature has been matted along w/miniature copy of The Unholy 3 lobby card showing Chaney out of makeup as well as two photos clipped from vintage monster magazines showing Chaney in two of his most identifiable roles, from The Phantom Of The Opera and London After Midnight. Display has creases at two corners but could be easily framed for display. Signature is Fine on its own. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA. Rare and desirable Hollywood autograph.
