Official MacGregor GoldSmith Florida State League (Butler) baseball has been signed in black ink on sweet spot by Woody Wheaton (1914-1995), who played for the Philadelphia Athletics (1943-1944). Ball has moderate even aging w/some scattered age spotting, but signature remains distinct. VG/Fine. An obscure single-signed ball from this player who enjoyed a brief MLB career and continued his career for 17 seasons in the minor leagues. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
