Item Description
1" brass shell. DeWitt 1864-94. Image has "For President Abraham Lincoln" above and is flanked by a pair of shields enclosed in stars and wreaths. Reverse "For Vice President Andrew Johnson" w/small text "Pat Aug. 12, 1862." Johnson has some light surface wear but retains strong contrast. Lincoln is superb w/watery sheen in reflected light. Brass shell has only light surface wear. Extremely Fine. See matching McClellan and Fremont ferros in next two lots.
