Item Description
1" brass shell. DeWitt 1864-94. Image has "For President G. B. McClellan" above and is flanked by a pair of shields enclosed in stars and wreaths. Reverse "For Vice President Geo. H. Pendleton" w/small text "Pat Aug. 12, 1862." Both portraits have only light surface w/watery sheen in reflected light. Excellent contrast and clarity, particularly on the McClellan side. Brass shell has only a trace of light green patina. Extemely Fine. See matching Lincoln and Fremont ferros in previous and following lots, respectively.
