Item Description
6" overall w/1.25" cello W&H back paper. Populist jugate featuring a Missouri coattail. J. H. Hillis ran on the People's Progressive ticket and received less than 1% of the vote. Unfortunately for Barker and Donnelly, they fared even worse, as the Populist movement largely collapsed after Bryan's 1896 presidential defeat, and in 1900 the Populist ticket received only 0.36% of the popular vote. Ribbon has a small hole under the B in "Barker", otherwise some minor fraying at the end. VF. Cello has only light surface wear. Exc. A rare third party button made exponentially more so by its accompanying ribbon.
