Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow up to the 1924-25 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.
Rafael Quintana played for parts of two seasons in the Cuban Winter League for Habana and Almendares where he had a stat line of .199/.251/.499 through 77 Games. Designated by CSG as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection".
